For those who don't speak spanish...
Hi my AMA friends! This is your President. What's going on? I hope your vacation is going well.
Ashley, your new Executive Vice President and I are here in breath-taking Barcelona, Spain, studying abroad for the next 6 weeks! We are taking courses in Spanish as well as Spanish art and heritage. It is so very exciting!
We have just finished our first week in Spain and we have already seen so much, such as the historic Barrio Gothico, where we stood in the exact spot that Christopher Columbus was welcomed when he returned from discovering the Americas and was greeted by Queen Isabelle and King Ferdinand! Isn't that CRAZY?!?!?! Also in the Barrio Gothico, just in the middle of town, we have seen remnants of the old Roman road lined with empty tombs that signified the transition from life to death. La Sagrada Familia designed by famous artist Gaudi is blocks away from our apartment and it is a magnificent church!!!!
This weekend we plan to go to Sitges, which is a little town on the coast of Spain! I'm so excited!!!! It's going to be AMAzing!
Anyways, we will keep you updated on our plans! We are drinking Sangria for all of you!!!! We miss AMA and will be hard at work again soon! Enjoy your vacation because we are!

P.S. They are allowed to run naked in the streets of Spain, although I highly doubt we will be partaking in that kind of activity. Just a little FYI.
